1- Propose eco-friendly inputs to mitigate the depressive effects of heavy metals on plants of agronomical interest.

2- Recovery of polluted soils.

3- Propose biostimulants to improve the growth of abiotic-stressed plants.

4- Reduce the use of conventional chemical fertilizers.

5- Contribute to the purification performances of the WWTP with regard to the elimination of active pharmaceutical residues (antibiotics) and possible rôle in the dissemination of bacteria resistant to antibiotics and heavy metals (resistance genes).

6- Valorization of the medicinal flora of Tunisia.

7- Provide manufacturers with competitive phytomolecules for potential use in the agri-food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic fields.
